The winning proposal by WorkAC is an exciting redevelopment and design of New Holland Island in Saint Petersburg, Russia that has been closed to the public for over 300 years. In collaboration with WorkAC as the director I decided to use stop motion, a format not typically used in architectural presentations, and digital diagramming to express their design proposal and ideas. To find an answer to this question the work of Aldo Van Eyck as well as other members of Team X was researched to help foster ways of placing humanity, connectivity, as well sensitivity into the heart of the Wyckoff housing project. The problem in this specific case was isolation and disconnection in the Brooklyn neighborhood created by the NYCHA project. The goal for thissolution was to densify the site with new housing, a school, and a public plaza reconnecting the neighborhood as well as reconfiguring the three existing modernist towers to engender a new form of social collectivity. Andrei Tarkovsky was studied to generate ideas and inspiration for different ways of expressing the architectural idea, the way in which it changes the urban scale, and how it would in turn be
